Sauce Labs Now Sponsors go-ios

Go-ios is the secret sauce to Sauce Labs' iOS Real Device Cloud, and we are excited to contribute to the next stage of this incredible open source community.

We’re thrilled to announce that Sauce Labs is now sponsoring go-ios, a Go library for interacting with iOS devices. This project was started by Daniel Paulus, a passionate iOS developer and automation engineer who wanted to create a fast and reliable way to control iOS devices. As a leading provider of continuous testing solutions for web and mobile applications, we at Sauce Labs are always looking for ways to support the open-source community and improve our testing capabilities. By sponsoring go-ios, we hope to help Daniel and other contributors maintain and enhance this fantastic project and enable more developers to use it for their testing needs.

Go-ios is a library that allows you to communicate with iOS devices and enables you to perform various actions on iOS devices, such as installing and launching apps, taking screenshots, recording videos, accessing logs, and more. You can also use go-ios to create custom automation scripts or tools for your iOS projects. Go-ios is compatible with macOS, Linux, and Windows.

We have been using go-ios internally at Sauce Labs for some time and are very impressed by its performance and stability. We use go-ios to power our iOS Real Device Cloud, which allows our customers to run automated tests on real iOS devices in the cloud. Go-ios is a valuable asset for the iOS testing community, and we want to contribute to its development and growth.

As part of our sponsorship, we are excited to collaborate on new features and improvements for go-ios, as well providing financial support, technical assistance, and feedback, to Daniel and other core contributors of the project. Sauce Labs is delighted to work with Daniel and the go-ios community on this fantastic project, and we look forward to seeing what they will create next.

To learn more about go-ios, check out the GitHub repository, where you can find the source code, documentation, and installation instructions. You can also join the go-ios Discord channel to chat with Daniel and other go-ios users and developers. And if you want to try out go-ios with Sauce Labs Real Device Cloud, sign up for a free trial.

We hope you enjoy using go-ios as much as we do, and we can't wait to see what you'll build with it.

Happy testing!
